The advent of POCUS has the potential to advance the delivery of care to homebound patients by augmenting physical exams to enhance clinical decision making in patients’ homes and facilitate medical decision-making.
This session will review POCUS fundamentals, including basic physics and instrumentation, and will provide hands-on experience using common, case-based geriatric conditions. Attendees will interact with standardized patients to practice scanning and image interpretation.
