Their efforts focused on a streamlined vaccination process, maintaining VHA/CDC guidelines, and internal tracking to manage vaccine doses effectively.<br /><br />Jeremy Phillips of Geriatric Specialty Care of Nevada highlighted the impact of COVID-19 on HBPC services in Northern Nevada, emphasizing collaborative efforts with county and state health systems for efficient vaccine distribution. They utilized home health agencies and local fire departments to vaccinate patients in assisted living and those receiving home-based primary care.<br /><br />The webinar underscored the importance of creative partnerships, robust planning, and clear communication in ensuring homebound patients receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Resources for continued education and collaboration, including the HCCI LinkedIn Group and various online tools and tip sheets, were also highlighted to support ongoing efforts in vaccine administration.
