There was a strong emphasis on practical applications, including using the DICE method for managing behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD) and alternative non-pharmacological interventions.<br /><br />The workshop underscored the importance of workflow efficiencies, leveraging technology, and establishing community partnerships to optimize home-care practices. Additionally, managing professional burnout by recognizing stressors, employing coping strategies, and fostering a supportive administrative culture were highlighted. Practical tools and strategies, such as utilizing EHR templates, inventory management, caregiver support, and methods for efficient scheduling and route planning, were also discussed.<br /><br />Overall, the workshop provided a comprehensive overview and practical solutions for delivering high-quality, compassionate HBPC while addressing the needs of patients, caregivers, and healthcare practitioners.
